Environmental Health & Safety Manager
Reports to:
General Manager Human Resources, Manufacturing Manager or Human Resource Manager
Primary Objectives:
Develop, implement and maintain the company’s environment, health and safety (EHS) program to ensure adherence to all government laws, regulations and industry guidelines.
Main Accountabilities:
- Provide induction and training to staff on all aspects of the EHS program, organise external training as required.
- Liaise with government bodies and professional organisations on EHS matters.
- Provide leadership and expertise on all EHS matters.
- Asses and identify EHS risks and determine corrective measures.
- Monitor EHS performance and devise measures to ensure best practice benchmarks are met.
Matching Indicators:
Tertiary qualification in a relevant field and eight-ten years EHS experience.
