State Manager
Reports to:
Chief Executive, Group or Division Manager, or the Principal Operations Executive
Primary Objectives:
Direct business activities, including manufacturing to achieve optimum profitability and effective use of the State’s assets and human resources.
Main Accountabilities:
- Coordinate subordinate staff to optimise the use of human and material resources.
- Direct business activities of the State to achieve short and long term objectives.
- Control use of production plant facilities by planning maintenance, designating operating hours and supply of parts and tools.
- Manage the selection and training of senior staff, establish lines of control and delegate responsibilities to subordinates.
Matching Indicators:
Eight – ten years general management experience including production experience and manage fifty – one hundred staff.
