Plant Engineer - Remuneration Report

Plant Engineer                                                                                         

Reports to:

Chief Engineer, Project Manager, Materials Manager or Plant Manager

Primary Objectives:

Carry out complex production engineering and planning assignments involving technical and operations tasks and preparation of detailed plans. 

Main Accountabilities:

• Co-ordinate the supply of resources including manpower.
• Liaise with marketing and sales to plan manufacturing schedules and provide data for production planning.
• Evaluate results and recommend changes to production operations or policy as appropriate.
• Plan major plant maintenance and shutdowns to minimise their impact.
