Graduate Chemist                                                           

Reports to:

Senior Chemist, Laboratory Manager or Quality Assurance Manager

Primary Objectives:

Contribute to the analysis and development of products under the guidance of a more senior chemist.

Main Accountabilities:

  • Use a variety of scientific methods and techniques in solving problems under the direction of a more senior chemist.
  • Generate, interpret and report on laboratory data in support of defined projects.
  • Receive training in office, plant and laboratory scientific work to enable growth and development.
  • Independently undertake professional tasks of limited scope and complexity.

Matching Indicators:

Three or four year degree with little or no experience.
