Chief Engineer - Remuneration Report

All our Remuneration Reports are three pages in length and provide a brief position description covering the job purpose, main accountabilities and matching indicators. Chief Engineer                                                                                         

Reports to:

Principal Engineering Executive or Plant Manager

Primary Objectives:

Direct and manage the efficient operation of the engineering plant and functions in accordance with production schedules.

Main Accountabilities:

• Develop budgets, maintenance standards and refurbishment programs.
• Direct the work of professional engineers.
• Provide leadership and guidance to engineering staff to maintain quality and efficiency.
• Ensure all engineering staff comply with policies and safety standards.
• Participate in projects associated with site expansion, plant extension, increased or altered storage and warehousing facilities under the direction of the Plant Manager. 
• Prepare regular reports on technical and production matters. .

Matching Indicators:

Four year degree with minimum ten years engineering experience.
