Group Brand/ Product Manager
Reports to:
General Manager Marketing & Sales or in a small company the Chief Executive
Primary Objectives:
Direct the planning, promotion and advertising of group products and devise market strategies and sales tactics to achieve improved brand recognition, revenue and profit objectives.
Main Accountabilities:
- Generate and evaluate new product ideas and suggestions, investigate market opportunities and estimate their effect on markets for present products.
- Prepare annual and longer term marketing plans, for product growth and improved market share.
- Select and direct product management and marketing personnel and assign them to projects and product development work.
- Recommend patent actions to protect the brand image and intellectual property of the company.
- Liaise with other senior market executives to ensure product and brand advertising is integrated and effective.
