Primary Objectives:
Investigate and recommend sources of supply of merchandise, products and fashion items for the company to on-sell.
Main Accountabilities:
- Consult with internal customers to lead the procurement/ purchasing process to meet business needs.
- Contribute to cost reduction by ensuring minimum delays in providing essential items.
- Source and evaluate suppliers by price, delivery conditions and quality of their product.
- Supervise controls on receipt and acknowledgement of materials and supplies and the maintenance of purchasing records.
Matching Indicators:
May have a tertiary qualification and at least four years experience.
